Our molecular biology business supports the needs of the aquaculture industry for fish‐health research and services. Our mechanical and metallurgical engineering units respond to the needs of entrepreneurs for prototype design and development, and address the need for inspection, material failure investigation and troubleshooting services on the part of our nuclear power, and pulp and paper industries. Our comprehensive analytical offerings provide close and competitive chemistry support to the environment consulting business.
“Diverse” also describes our clientele. Many of our technical capabilities are attractive and competitive in markets well beyond our region. While we are analyzing a well‐water sample for a local homeowner, we may be analyzing tissue samples for dioxins for a customer in Chile.
Engineers who assist local entrepreneurs with prototype design and construction also direct specialized component manufacturing for CANDU nuclear reactors across Canada and around the world. Our mineral processing group applies their novel bioleaching technology to ore and tailing located as close as 200km or as far away as Serbia, Australia and China.
